  13. I've got a Ricoh 5030E Rewritable Optical disk-drive, and I've got some
  14. questions concerning it, so I hope that there is somebody else out there
  15. using such a device on their Amiga.

  17. Problem:        I've got several disks, both 590MB & 650MB that works
  18.                 perfectly. However with the *one* pre-formatted disk I have
  19.                 is not possible to re-format or write a new RDB.
  20.  
  21.                 The disk in question is a 3M 590MB type, with 512kb sectors
  22.                 and ( I belive ) formatted for MS-DOS .... :/
  23.  
  24.                 When trying to write an RDB to the disk from HDTools
  25.                 I get an "ERROR 25".
  26.  
  27. Questions:      Can I use this disk, should I just ship it back to the
  28.                 supplier, and demand that they swap it for an unformatted ?
